You are definitely the world’s expert on the history of Commercial Drive’s buildings and businesses. It was very interesting to be able to experience your century of expertise on the topic, and see in person a century of the history of the place where we live. You gave our buildings and our Drive new context and new meaning. It was like hearing interesting personal stories from a favourite grandparent.
