Lakewood Drive

1907 October — Board of Works approved Lakewood Drive to be cleared and rough graded from Venables to Parker Street at an estimated cost of $303;

1908 September – Lakewood Drive was cleared and graded from Grant to the lane south. The work was completed on 14^th October.^ⁱ

1909 January – Stumps were blown out at the corner of Lakewood and 2^nd Avenue. The work was completed on 13^th January 1910.^ⁱⁱ

1909 July – Lakewood Drive was cleared and graded from William to Charles. The work was completed on 24^th August.^ⁱⁱⁱ

1909 August – Lakewood Drive was cleared and graded from Parker to Napier. The work was completed on 23^rd September.^{^iv}

1909 October – Lakewood Drive was cleared and graded from Venables to Parker. The work was completed on 20^th November.^{^v}

1909 November – A new sewer was laid along Lakewood between Charles and a point 160’ south.^{^vi}

1909 December – Lakewood Drive was cleared and graded from 3^rd to 4^th Avenue. The work was completed on 23^rdMarch 1910.^{^vii}

1910 March – A sewer was laid along Lakewood from Grant to a point 230’ north, and from William to Charles. The work was completed on 11 May.^{^viii}

1910 July – Lakewood Drive was cleared and graded from William to Napier. At the same time, Lakewood was rocked from William to Grant.^ix
